Ishtar is a 4 metre sailing skiff of North American design (Jimmy Skiff 2), the components for which were purchased from Denman Marine in August 2020. The boat was completed and fully rigged in September 2021.

The mast height is 5.8 metres and the sail area is 6.32 square metres.

The hull and spars were built completely to plan and all timber surfaces, both interior and exterior are sealed with West System epoxy. The hull has two coats of Norglass Premium Undercoat and two topcoats of Norglass Premium Enamel.

This boat has a detachable mount offset on the transom for an outboard engine.

The engine, bought new in September 2021, is a 2hp Suzuki with only a few hours of running.

This boat has oars with appropriate rowlocks.

The boat trailer, bought new in 2021, is an aluminum Spitfire design with waterproof taillights and indicators.

Boat and trailer are currently registered and insured.

Boat, trailer, rig and engine are stored undercover.

Ishtar was built and is based in Adelaide, South Australia.
