Center Harbor 31

The Center Harbor 31 is a striking daysailer designed by renowned US boatbuilder and designer Joel White. Only a small number have been built, and the boat constructed by Denman Marine was the first Center Harbor 31 built outside the United States.

Seven of these boats had previously been built by Brooklyn Boat Yard in the USA. The Denman Marine build became hull number eight and was constructed for a Sydney client.

Construction

Denman Marine completed the main construction over approximately twelve months. The owner planned to complete the final systems fitout, painting and rigging before launch.

In the lead-up to the 2019 Australian Wooden Boat Festival, the interior was well advanced and the decks had been dry fitted. The trunk cabin and coamings followed as the boat moved into the later stages of construction.
