Our builds can vary from the original plans. One example included built-in buoyancy tanks, teak bottom boards and a Huon pine transom and rudder.

Finished boats

A completed boat can be supplied with a painted hull, oiled brightwork, an easy-to-use lug sail and custom oars. We have built Shellbacks for clients around Australia, including a sail-and-oar boat shipped to Noosa for use on the local canals.

Please note: the Shellback Dinghy is not available from Denman Marine in kit form.
